Hailing from the same region and growing group as our recently departed Colombian offering, Libardo Cerron, this coffee brings some of the same elegant, complex acidity while also having the flavors we crave when it gets cold out: rich, round chocolate, dried fruit, and a little spice like mulled wine.

Colombia's Nariño region is the southwestern-most corner of the country, tucked between Ecuador's northern border and the Pacific Ocean. The high elevation of Nariño means its coffees usually bring a bright and dynamic acidic profile to the table, and while Pitalito Alto does have nicely developed acidity, it's a fitting cold weather and holiday coffee, with juicy, raisiny sweetness and plenty of cocoa.
